Taking a firm stand on cross border terrorism Akhil Bhartiya Prachar Pramukh Dr. Manmohan Vaidya stated that there should be no compromise on national security while dealing with the contentious issues like terrorism and separatists forces. He was addressing the press conference on the concluding day of Akhil Bhartiya Prant Pracharak Baithak.

Calling it a usual annual organization review meeting Dr. Vaidya said that this kind of meeting is being conducted every year at different places and this year the meeting was held in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. In this three -day meeting, all Prant Pracharaks, Sah-Prant Pracharak, Kshetra Pracharak and members of Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini sadasya were present. He further informed that various organizational issues were discussed and deliberated in this three-day meeting.

Briefing about the recent organizational activities of Sangh, Vaidya informed that this year around 87 Sangh Shiksha Varg were held in which 23223 shiksharthi took part. Among these 23223 shiksharthi 15816 were below the age of 40 and 3000 shiksharthi were in the bracket of above 40 years. He further added that 3796 swayamsevaks attended the Dvitiya Varsh and 899 attended the tritiya Varsha.


Dr Vaidya said that at present there 51688 daily shakha and 13432 saptahik milans with 2965 Pracharak and Vistaraks across the country. When asked about the response of younger generation towards RSS Vaidya specially mentioned that with the digital initiative of Join RSS, large numbers of new young Swayamsevak are connected through join RSS campaign. Presenting the latest report of join RSS he articulated that from last six months 71872 new Swayamsevaks have joined the digital campaign of RSS.(Details of previous years: 2015 -31800, 2016 - 47209)


Appreciating the social campaign of “Rally for Rivers” laid by Isha foundation under the guidance of Swami Satguru Shree Jaggi Vasudev Dr. Vaidya asserted that all the swayamsevaks will contribute to this noble cause of water conservation by participating in the mega tree plantation drive on the banks of the river.

When asked about the contribution of RSS in the field of rural development Dr vaiday said that 1100 villages have been identified where various activities of village empowerment and other developmental work have been initiated where in 318 villages are doing an excellent job. He also mentioned that more than 1000 Gau shalas under the monitoring of scientists and professionals are undertaking research work in order to improve the productivity.

Commenting on the recent act of violence in the name of Gau Raksha vaidya reiterated that RSS does not support any kind of Violence and government must take strict action such elements. Nobody is above the law but in the name of cow vigilantism, some sections of the society are making deliberate attempts of tarnishing the image of Sangh.
